Future City Competition 2021
This year’s Future City Competition theme is “Living on the Moon.” To adapt to the pandemic, teams will be allowed to work remotely and competitions will be virtual. Teams will make a video presentation of their cities, and their models will be presented in a slideshow format. There will be a live Q&A for the teams to answer questions about their models and presentations.

Future City Competition 2018 - Regional Finals in Chicago
Regional competition was held in Chicago on January 20, 2018. A total of 16 schools made it to the regional competition! ISPE sponsors a Special Award and offers volunteer member judges for the event. Each team that won a Special Award receives the following: individual acrylic plaques for the three presenting students, $25 Amazon Gift Card for the three presenting students, and one larger plaque for the school to display.

Future City Competition 2017 - Regional Finals in Chicago
ISPE Chicago Chapter supported the Regional Finals and the 25th Anniversary of Future City Competition on Saturday, January 7. Future Cities is a national, project-based learning program where middle school students work with an educator and STEM mentor to imagine, research, design and build cities of the future. ISPE Chicago Chapter supported this event by providing volunteer judges and a "Special Award" based upon "Great Engineering Feats."
